THE PRS 'EXPERIENCE'

Zach G. and Steve McG (along with our pal Dan D.) were lucky enough to attend the 1st ever PRS 'Experience' open house at the Paul Reed Smith Guitar Factory in Stevensville, Maryland, September 28th and 29th.

PRS pulled out all the stops...with amazing artist clinics from notable players such as Johnny Hiland and David Grissom, showcasing the PRS archive guitars in an astounding clinic by Paul Reed Himself, and giving us unfettered access to the factory for a complete tour.

Meeting the great folks that work at Paul Reed Smith was a real treat. These are people who are truly passionate about their guitars. Most have been working for Paul for years and years. The level of hand crafting and attention to detail going into these guitars is incredible!

There was an outstanding concert featuring the PRS band, with Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent), David Grissom, Paul Jackson Jr. (American Idol), the guitarist from Prince's band, Mike Scott, Mark Tremonti and the singer from Alter Bridge, and the unbelieveable Johnny Hiland!

The PRS 'Experiece' was fantastic...we can't wait until next year. The company has a true family feeling.

Also...PRS showed a new guitar...the 'Mira'. This is a very SG-like guitar, light and amazing sounding, only $2200.00 retail...check it out!
